Deb & Steve met at IHOP when Steve was Deb's busboy. Their relationship grew and then they married. They had children early and focused on family life. The passion for restaurants grew and they opened the first one in 1980 K"s Friends & Family. They closed it after five years and concentrated on their careers. They both left the restaurant field and Steve was in retail and became a District Manager.Deb went back to a career she loved in college chemistry. In 2008 celebrating their 30th Anniversary they took a trip to Europe, falling in Love with the Cafe and Pubs in France & England. There was nothing like them in the States so upon their return the seed was planted for Ballou's. They wanted to create a place that empty Nester's could come and enjoy dinner and Wine in a fun safe enviorment. Ballou's welcomes you to come and experience our hospitality. We have an Award Winning Wine menu that boasts more than sixty wines by the glass. Our Eclectic Food menu is paired with our wines and is prepared for you with "LOVE". We have Cheese & Chocolate Fondue and everything from Paninis to Pasta and delicious salads. Ballou's desserts are made in house.
